Según se describe y lo bueno de este modelo es que la electrónica de control va incorporada en el propio VU. Aún no lo he probado con audio, pero la iluminación es impresionantemente Vintage. En mi caso compré el de pantalla amarilla. Lo recomiendo.

These are a very nice little unit,I was a little sceptical that the meters would "dance" around erratically but they don't , they hook up to the speaker outputs on my TP3116 D2 amp project and work very well, a little adjustment on the back and all is good. I used a mobile phone USB charger for the power supply to the lights connected them in parrallel and they are perfect brightness, I feel up to 12volts would be far too bright , so yes a 5v USB charger works well. I am also glad I went for this size 45mm as for my project the readily available smaller 35mm would be too wee.. all in all a great unit highly recommend.
